Crispy Potatoes and tuna pie

    1. 1 can of tuna, drained

      1 egg

      1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

      2 medium-sized potatoes, thinly sliced

      1/2 cup grated cheese

      2 tablespoons olive oil

      1/2 teaspoon salt

      1/2 teaspoon paprika

      1/2 teaspoon turmeric

      1/2 teaspoon cumin

      1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, egg, and dried thyme. Mix well and set aside.

      2. In a separate bowl, mix the sliced potatoes, grated cheese, olive oil, salt, paprika, turmeric, and cumin. Vigorously mix the ingredients in a freezer bag to ensure they are well coated.

      3. Heat a greased frying pan over medium heat. Add a layer of the potato mixture to the pan, then spread the tuna mixture evenly over the top.

      4. Add the remaining potato mixture over the top of the tuna and press down lightly to compact the layers.

      5. Cook the pie on medium heat for 10-12 minutes on each side, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.

      6. Once the pie is cooked on both sides, transfer it to a serving plate and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Enjoy your delicious tuna and potato pie with a crispy crust and flavorful filling!
